Privacy & Security
We don't track your location. Period.
KickStandsUp doesn't use GPS tracking, doesn't monitor where you ride, and doesn't store location data. What we do is simple: you tell your group your status, and they see it.
We're not interested in knowing where you go or what route you take. We only care about one thing: did you make it home or are you still out?
Authentication is handled securely through Google Sign-In or Apple Sign-In. Your password stays with them, not us. Your account data is stored in Firebase with industry-standard encryption. We only hold what's necessary: your name, your groups, and your current status.
Your data will never be sold. Ever. The moment you update your status, the old one is gone—no history, no archives, no logs. We keep your current status only. When you delete your account, everything disappears permanently.
We're not a surveillance tool. We're a safety tool. There's a difference, and we respect it.

The interface is designed for gloves-on operation. Large buttons, clear indicators, minimal taps to get what you need. You're not fumbling through menus when you're geared up and ready to check in.

Secure By Design
Groups are invitation-only. You control who's in your crew. Authentication is required before anyone sees anything. Firebase handles the security backbone with bank-level encryption and access controls.
Your data lives in the cloud, synced in real-time, backed up automatically. Lose your phone? Log in on a new device and everything's there.
